The crew talent show was one my favorite events of the semester. The crew is such an important part of this voyage and we have all grown to love them. We have crew members from over 20 different countries, but the largest number come from the Philippines. Although we have had the chance to get to know many of them who work in the dining hall or are stewards on our floors, there are many who work on the lower decks that we never get to know. However, one of the postive aspects of living on Deck 2 is that many of the crew work and live down there so we always get to see them.
My friends and I were looking forward to the talent show so much we went hours in advance just to save seats. We also made signs for our favorite crew members. I've never seen our student union so packed. Everyone was cheering and applauding at every act. You could tell that the crew members had worked so hard on this because the acts were all incredible. There was singing, dancing, instrumentals, and even a juggling act. I wish I was able to post videos. Many of them were hilarious. I am going to miss the crew so much!
